CAD & CNC File Preparation
From a dimensioned sketch to a 3D assembly and CNC files: we create and refine drawings, models and machining geometry. Order file preparation separately or combine it with BALTICCUT CNC manufacture.
Drawing and machining preparation

2D working drawings and DXF/PDF files from sketches or photos with your dimensions.

Convert existing PDFs into editable CAD models and drawings.

Full 3D modelling of products and assemblies, with files prepared for the agreed use.

Design joints, slots and machining allowances around the actual material thickness.

Review and correct third-party 3D models and drawings before manufacture.
- 06
Optimise sheet layouts and nesting, develop flat-pack layouts and prepare repeat production orders and CNC geometry.
File preparation can be ordered as a separate service without ordering manufacture. CAD preparation and CNC production can also be agreed together, with each scope confirmed separately.

What you send
- A sketch or photo with dimensions supplied by you — a photo alone does not establish dimensions.
- An existing PDF or drawing to review and develop.
- Your idea and requirements: intended use, material, thickness, quantity and how the parts should fit.
What you can receive
Working drawings, 3D product and assembly models, STEP, DXF and PDF files, and DWG on request. The exact file set, documentation and possibilities for your task are confirmed after reviewing the project.
Final CAD price and timing are agreed after project review. The €100 excl. VAT minimum applies only to private manufacturing orders, not to CAD services.

Starting rates; the final price, file set, timing and feasibility for your task are confirmed after project review. The VAT-inclusive column uses Estonian VAT 24%. For foreign clients, tax is determined under the applicable rules.
One agreed revision round within the original brief is included. New requirements and additional rework are charged separately, after agreement.
