How we handle the personal data you send us through this website.

Data controller

What data we receive

When you send an inquiry, we receive your name and email address and, if you provide them, your company name, material and quantity, project description, part or cargo dimensions and weight, delivery method and destination (country, city, postal code), carrier preference and attached files.

Why we use it

We use this data only to review and answer your inquiry and to prepare a possible quote. The legal basis is the consent you give in the form and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and (b)).

How the inquiry is delivered

Inquiry details, reference and processing status are stored in Lovable Cloud. Files are not stored in the database; they are emailed as attachments only to the BalticCut team through Lovable and Resend. A confirmation without attachments is sent to your email address.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry data only as long as needed to answer the inquiry and handle any resulting order, or as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your rights

You may request access to your data, its correction or deletion, restrict or object to its processing, and withdraw your consent at any time by writing to info@balticcut.ee. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before it.

Complaints

You may lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, www.aki.ee).

Language preference

The website saves your language choice and your cookie choice in your browser's local storage. We do not use analytics cookies.

Advertising cookies (Google Ads)

Only if you click Accept in the cookie notice, the website loads the Google Ads tag of Google Ireland Limited. It sets Google advertising cookies so we can count how many inquiries are successfully sent after visiting from our ads. The tag sends technical measurement data to Google, including the page URL, IP address and browser/cookie identifiers. After the email service accepts an inquiry, we additionally send a conversion event with a random reference number. Form fields and attached files are not included in that event. We do not use remarketing, personalised advertising or enhanced conversions. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). Google keeps this data under its own terms: policies.google.com/technologies/ads. You can withdraw consent at any time under Cookie settings in the footer.

Fonts and hosting

Page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when a page opens. The website is hosted by Lovable.

Portfolio permission

A separate optional checkbox allows BalticCut to use photographs of the finished product and agreed 3D visualisations in the company portfolio and advertising materials on the basis of consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). It is unchecked by default; declining does not affect sending or reviewing your inquiry. Original drawings and confidential technical information are not published. Permission does not automatically cover any customer models, logos or trade secrets; unique or confidential developments require a separate rights review and approval before publication. The selected value, server recording time, text version and language are stored with the inquiry number in its protected record. The choice is also included in the team email, but not in Google Ads events. You can withdraw permission by emailing info@balticcut.ee; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of use before withdrawal.
